Cannabis Experts Convene in San Francisco Feb. 15th-16th in Advance of Expected Legalization in 2016


San Francisco, CA – February 12th, 2015 – With three Pacific Coast states voting to
Picture 2legalize cannabis for recreational consumption, and California expected to do so in 2016,
savvy businesspeople are already planning for the impending multi-billion dollar
cannabis industry.

Alex Rogers, CEO of Northwest Alternative Health and producer of the upcoming
International Cannabis Business Conference said the political and business landscape for
cannabis is growing rapidly, and the trend is likely to continue. “Colorado and
Washington are already generating millions of dollars in new revenue from marijuana,
and a new study by economic consulting firm ECONorthwest estimated that retail
cannabis sales in Oregon will generate approximately $38.5 million during the first fiscal
year, with revenue expected to increase.”
